I is for Intensity - How hard you train.

If you are creating a training programme you need to think about and plan how hard you train.

Moderate to vigorous intensity exercise is recommended. Increasing resistance, for example by upping the weights you lift, is a way of increasing workout intensity. Another way of doing this is by training at a higher percentage of maximal heart rate.
