Three features of the divine – understandings of the nature of the divine as: 1. Everywhere (as non-personal, Brahman); 2. Within the heart; 3. Beyond (as a personal god, approached through deities who live in the spiritual realm)
To remember the meaning of the three features of the divine, use the following mnemonic:
The tree's leaves had features that were simply divine (three features of the divine); they blew everywhere and were shaped like a heart (within the heart); they were even found beyond the park where the tree grew.
