Liberal Judaism – Progressive Judaism that combines traditional beliefs and practices with modern interpretations

We outlined what Judaism is in our introduction, but to remember the meaning of Liberal Judaism in Judaism, use the following mnemonic:

The Statue of Liberty had changed for all (liberal) to see - one half of her clothing was traditional robes, but the other half was a more modern view of what a person should wear. 

Combine the words "liberal" and "Judaism", we can now see that it means Judaism, but combining traditional beliefs with modern interpretations.
