Decimal to fractions
Before we show you how to convert decimals to fractions in the next sections, you must learn the following:
When you convert a decimal to a fraction always write out the following:
`0` | `.` | `1` | `1` | `1` | `1` | `1` | etc | ||

`1/10` | `1/100` | `1/1000` | `1/(10,000)` | `1/(100,000)` |
This will enable you to work out where the last digit in the decimal stretches to.
Example 1
Where does `0.5` stretch to?
`0` | `.` | `5` | |

`1/10` |
`0.5` stretches to the `1/10` column.
Example 2
Where does `0.35` stretch to?
`0` | `.` | `3` | `5` | |

`1/100` |
`0.35` stretches to the `1/100` column
Example 3
Where does `0.678` stretch to?
`0` | `.` | `6` | `7` | `8` | |
