Improper Fraction
A fraction where there is a bigger number on the top than the bottom.
Its improper for the small child to hold up the large person.
NOTE:
Proper fractions are the opposite way up.

An improper fraction is greater than 1.

All of these fractions are improper fractions.
Example 4
Thirteen over four is an improper fraction.
Example 5
This is an example of a regular fraction. One third is NOT an improper fraction.
