Time signatures – Common time and half time

Sometimes musicians are so lazy when writing sheet music they have a short cut for the most common time signature (which is `4/4`).

The most common time signature is `4/4` and the short cut is:

Musicians have a short cut for half common time too.

Half time is half common time.
