Dendrites – reception area (electrical signal receiver)
Dendrites form the branched “reception area” of a neurone. They receive stimulation and conduct electrical messages to the neurone cell body for the cell to function as a “messenger”
The den on the right (dendrite) had a clever lion in it – sitting at a desk, working as a receptionist (reception area).
Dendrites are multiple fibres that extend like branches from the cell body of a neurone.
