Remembering the list of presentational features
As we’ve seen, there are lots of presentational features and it can be difficult to remember them all. However, as with language features above, they can be grouped under just four headings, which makes it much easier to recall them.
The four headings are:
Layout
Pictures
Colours
Text
The following picture should help you to remember these four main headings for presentational features:
She lay out (layout) on the newspaper to take pictures of the colours in the garden. When she stood up she was covered in text.
