Emotive language – biased or one-sided
Emotive language is the use of words that make an audience feel a particular emotion.
Easily remembered because they are practically the same.
Examples of emotive language
Negative language/words: liar, cheat, lazy
Positive language/words: beautiful, friendly, kind
A drunken idiot lost control
The poor, defenceless animals’ suffering
