Pun – two meanings
A pun is a humorous way of using a word or phrase so that it has more than one meaning.
She was punished (pun) by two meanies (two meanings)
Examples
Reading while sunbathing makes you well-read. (Read sounds like red!)
“What do you think about renewable energy?” “I’m a big fan.”
Trying to put these pachyderm skeletons back together is a mammoth task.
