Most of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's large-scale wrapped art was made to be temporary, but they created sketches and took photographs of their work. This is a great chance for you to draw your wrapped object and concentrate on the shading and lines the string makes.

Drawing on brown, grey or coloured card will help your highlights and shading stand out. It would be beneficial if you could light the object from one side with a table spot lamp to exaggerate the shadow lines across the fabric. Below are our attempts, but your efforts will make exciting and interesting drawings.
