To create a Miró painting, draw geometric shapes (rough circles, misshaped rectangles and triangles). Include circles within circles.

Now paint these shapes in with vivid colours, and include some black. Half-shade some of the shapes with different colours (e.g., the yellow and black circle and the black and blue triangle in the design below).

Use a black pen to draw lines off in waves and squiggles between and away from the shapes.
